Experience

North America

  • The North American market is quite mature, with the U.S having more than 60 GW of solar capacity installed – enough to power over 11.3 million homes
  • Total installed U.S. PV capacity is expected to more than double over the next five years, and by 2023, over 14 GW of PV capacity will be installed annually
  • Neo will have limited focus on the North American market over the next few years, as most targets will be in more emerging/ developed countries across Latin America and Asia
  • Countries of experience:
    • U.S
    • Canada

South America

  • With our Latin American headquarters located centrally in the capital of Ecuador, we are able to facilitate our services and effectively develop targeted projects across the continent
  • These emerging markets have steadily increased their renewable objectives and provide great resources for solar energy
  • Target project size ranges from 30 MW to 500 MW in each market until 2022
  • Countries of experience:
    • Colombia
    • Ecuador
    • Chile

Europe

  • With offices in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands we have a solid presence throughout Europe
  • Our level of quality and professionalism has allowed us to expand into new markets across the mature and developed European continent
  • Our objective is to expand into at least 2 new European markets by 2020

Asia

  • Strategic partnerships have allowed us to further expand into Asia
  • Offering a solid infrastructure and a growing energy demand, Asia will be a top development priority for Neo over the next few years
  • We aim to complete 100 MW of large scale solar in Asia by 2021
  • Countries of presence:
    • Maldives
    • Turkey
    • Jordan

Africa

  • As solar sector growth strengthens around the globe, the world’s region with the most critical need for power and one of the most abundant solar irradiance is Africa
  • Since both funding as well as, technical capacity for African solar projects are mostly sourced externally; primarily from Europe, America and Asia, developments within the African space will continue to mirror global trends, once local economic and political constraints are properly factored or adjusted for
  • Both on-grid and off-grid solar appears promising within the continent but difficulties around financing, poor ratings on general Ease of Business index in several countries may limit the speed of development for Neo in Africa over the near term
